1. Who we are

FlowZB is developed and published by Zone Blanche, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. If you have any questions about this policy, you can contact us at support@zoneblanche.co.uk.

2. What data FlowZB collects

FlowZB collects the following information when you use the app:

• Voiding session data — volume, flow metrics, timestamps, and capture method
• Diary entries — fluid intake, food intake, symptoms, nocturnal events, and manual voids
• Profile information you choose to enter — first name, age, and clinical context setting
• App preferences and settings you configure

All of this information is entered by you, about you. The app does not collect it passively or infer it from other sources.

3. Where your data is stored

All data is stored locally on your iPhone using SwiftData. It does not leave your device unless you have iCloud backup enabled. If iCloud backup is on — which is the default in iOS Settings — your FlowZB data is included in your personal iCloud backup alongside other app data. This backup is encrypted, controlled entirely by your Apple ID, and is not accessible by Zone Blanche at any time.

If you prefer your FlowZB data to remain exclusively on your device with no cloud copy, you can disable iCloud backup for FlowZB individually in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → iCloud Backup.

4. Bluetooth access

FlowZB requests access to Bluetooth in order to connect to compatible BLE scales (such as the Bookoo Themis Mini and Decent Scale) for measuring voiding sessions.

Bluetooth is used solely to receive weight data from a paired scale during a session. The app does not scan for or communicate with any other Bluetooth devices. No Bluetooth data is stored beyond what is needed to calculate and save the session result.

You can deny Bluetooth permission at any time in iOS Settings. The app will continue to work for manual and jug-volume entry modes without Bluetooth access.

5. What FlowZB does not do

• Does not collect analytics or usage data
• Does not include crash reporting that transmits data off your device
• Does not use advertising frameworks or display ads
• Does not track your behaviour within the app
• Does not share any information with third parties
• Does not require an account or email address
• Does not access Apple Health or HealthKit
• Does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, or photos

6. Data export

FlowZB allows you to export your session data as CSV files. These exports are initiated by you, saved to your device or a location you choose, and are not transmitted to or accessible by Zone Blanche.

Exported files contain raw session data — volume, flow metrics, timestamps, and capture method. They do not contain your personal information, interpreted trend results, quantile calculations, or clinical context labels.

7. Deleting your data

You can delete individual sessions, diary entries, and profile information from within the app at any time.

Deleting the FlowZB app from your iPhone removes all locally stored data permanently. If you have iCloud backup enabled, your data will also be removed from iCloud backup when the next backup runs after deletion.

8. Children

FlowZB is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Because all data is stored locally on the user's device and is not accessible to Zone Blanche, we are unable to directly remove it. If you believe a child has used the app, please contact us at support@zoneblanche.co.uk and we will do our best to guide you through removing the app and its data from the device.

9. Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and note the change in the app's release notes. We will not reduce your privacy protections without clear notice.
